    I was recently in Chicago, on my way back to Europe, and needed to talk to my wife. O'hare advertised a deal for $6.95 for 24 hours of Boingo connectivity. It also states that you can use it in other airports. I paid the fee as my wife and son were having a problem and needed to talk. It worked great. Whether it was O'hare or Boingo misleading me, I do not know, but in a hurry I purchased the As You Go service and the service is clearly not as you go. They charge per device, per logon, per location with a $19.95 fee per connection in Europe. Needless to say, if I had known these... More...

    You know those shady online ads that offer you a good deal, and then sell your credit card information to other companies. Well, Boingo doesn't do that (or maybe it does, who knows). What Boingo does though is rip you by charging your card every month for a one-time service. Their advertisements are worded carefully to create the perception that it is a one-time charge, without actually saying so (or else they'd be sued by now). It would be easier for you to find a needle in a haystack than to find out how to unsubscribe from Boingo. You have to call 1-800-880-4117 and ask the... More...
